Ann came
to England from her native California in 1972 to further her musical
studies. After completing one post graduate year at Trinity College,
London and a further year at the Royal Academy of Music, she chose to
stay on in this country and became a free-lance musician and a teacher.

She has
worked for several large European music publishers including Boosey
& Hawkes, Novellos, Universal and Durand and for composers
including Richard Harvey, Jerry Goldsmith, Harry Gregson-Williams, John
Taverner, Peter Maxwell-Davies and Harrison Birtwistle, producing music
for television, cinema and all forms of live performance. Some of her
television involvement has included The Little ‘Visiters’, Dr. Finlays
Casebook, Wildlife on One, The Ambassador, Jane Eyre, and Arabian
Nights and her films include Animal Farm, Captain Jack, Two Men Went To
War and The Little Vampire. She has also contributed to Die Another
Day, Hollow Man and Nanny McPhee.
